Vegan foods often contain siginificant amounts of different amino acids (proteins). On the other hand, they often do not contain sufficient amounts of all essential amino acids (amino acids which can't be synthesized by metabolic processing from other available amino acids). The good news is that different foods lack different essential amino acids. Thus, good mixtures of vegan foods can lead to a protein quality, totally comparable with animal products.

What's the difference to food tracking apps?

Recommendations

You don't have to know about good combinations and the App is only telling you if you are right or not. Aminoscore actively serves recommendations to the foods you want to eat right now

Short Periods

One meal or one day as "long" period is enough to track amino acids, because they cannot be stored in our body for longer anyway

Tracking Optional

Tracking other critical storable nutrients for longer periods is still useful and will be possible in later releases
